The Norris Museum opened to the public for the first time in 1933. It was founded by Herbert Norris who left his lifetimes collection of Huntingdonshire artefacts along with sufficient funds to build the museum to the town when he died in 1931. There are some great displays, as well as an art gallery with pictures and works by Huntingdonshire artists and a bookstall selling local history books, postcards and maps. Admission is free but if you wish to take a party please arrange an appointment. There is full wheelchair access for disabled visitors.
